- A Reggae & Dancehall spectacular at the One Nation Music Festival
The electrifying scene was the vibrant One Nation stage where reggae legends and young licks Gramps Morgan, Chris Martin, Mr. Vegas, Capleton, and Masicka delivered electrifying performances. The annual event occurs each January in Antigua, celebrating unity, culture, and the powerful beats of Caribbean music. Gramps Morgan kicked off the action with his popular and powerful ballads, paying tribute every step along the way to his late brother Peetah Morgan. He then turned the spotlight to the next generation of Morgan Heritage in the persons of his two sons Jahmere and Priel, with the latter crooning out and sweet soft ballad on guitar "Fall Apart", that had the ladies oooh-ing and aaah-ing. Mr. Vegas and Gassy Dread perform Chris Martin delivered his usual crowd-favorites including "Big Deal" and "Cheaters Prayer", and had the crowd in stitches with the lyrics of a new "Cheater's Prayer"-inspired song, "I wish my Wife, and my Sweetheart could be friends!". He capped off the whirlwind set with a heart-felt, reggae rendition of gospel anthem "Goodness of God". Mr. Vegas rolled out his 90's POWER set featuring bangers such as "I am blessed, Pull Uuuup and Heads-High" and was joined on-stage towards the end of the set by his "new artist", "Gassy Dread" - the Reggae alter-ego of Antigua and Barbuda's Prime Minister - Hon. Gaston Browne, on the tune "Reparations". "The Fire Man" Capleton did not disappoint! The almost 60-year old senior delivered a surprisingly energetic performance, featuring a massive salvo of classic smash anthems that whipped the veteran fans in the midst into a nostalgia frenzy - "Or Wah?", "Slew Dem", "No Lotion Man", "Dem no like we and we no like dem", "Everybody needs somebody", "United we stand and divided we fall" and "Alms House", just to name a few. Masicka rounded out the Jamaican contingent dropping his usual list of chart-toppers - "Top Form", "Limelight", "Image", "Keys", "Tyrant", "20 Matic" and of course the mega-smash "Whites". Two production crews were deployed to support each venue, including travel and transportation, communications and logistics support, camera work, broadcast management, quality control, artists liaison backstage interviews and social media engagement. Each Carnival had their own dedicated channels where all of the live events were broadcast, and each had - and still have - their own On-Demand channels where the content can be viewed in post at the audience's leisure - anytime, anywhere and on any device! ATL One Channel / OCD Channel BakanalTV continues to forge ahead as a pioneer in Caribbean broadcasting as a full fledged multi-channel, multi-outlet streaming network. As CEO Craig M. R. Samuel humbly likes to remind us.. "We are NOT a YouTube channel, we are NOT a Facebook page". Visibly struggling to contain the excitement and bubbling pride on the success of the simultaneous behemoth ventures, he rhetorically asks, "which other (Caribbean) network can stream two major events (even up to 10) at one time? Other 2024 events for team Bakanal include Philly, Antigua, New York, Miami, Montserrat, St. Kitts and St. Croix Carnivals! Atlanta Crew and Carnival Shots Orlando Crew and Carnival Shots

- BakanalTV announces sponsorship of the Marsh Built Racing Team
BakanalTV – The Global Caribbean Network, has entered into a sponsorship deal with Marsh Built Race Team for the 2024 race season. The Marsh Built team has been astounding the drag racing community for over 10 years, led by racing phenom Jason Marsh’s brilliant motor building expertise and exceptional driving and mastery of horsepower. He has reset track records, seemingly with each pass and staked his claim to fame by posting the fastest 1/4 mile time in a Sport Front Wheel Drive, clocking in at 7.91 seconds@ 192MPH – and in the process pulling an EPIC come-from-behind win over a 1600 HP RedEye Hellcat. For all their incredible. jaw-dropping and eye-popping feats and records, the Marsh Built team has the dubious honor of never actually “winning-it-all”, routinely experiencing engine or mechanical failures in the final round – to the tune of nine (9) silver medals! The wear and tear after four days of intense, all-out pounding on the motor requires constant replacement / refreshing of beaten parts, which means having sufficient reserves – heads, pistons, cams, plugs eg., which means sufficient money! With this new partnership and cash injection into the team, both BakanalTV and Marsh Built are looking forward to 2024 as THE year! The year when Marsh Built DOES in fact win it all.. powered by BakanalTV!
