The electrifying scene was the vibrant One Nation stage where reggae legends and young licks Gramps Morgan, Chris Martin, Mr. Vegas, Capleton, and Masicka delivered electrifying performances. The annual event occurs each January in Antigua, celebrating unity, culture, and the powerful beats of Caribbean music.
Gramps Morgan kicked off the action with his popular and powerful ballads, paying tribute every step along the way to his late brother Peetah Morgan. He then turned the spotlight to the next generation of Morgan Heritage in the persons of his two sons Jahmere and Priel, with the latter crooning out and sweet soft ballad on guitar "Fall Apart", that had the ladies oooh-ing and aaah-ing.

Chris Martin delivered his usual crowd-favorites including "Big Deal" and "Cheaters Prayer", and had the crowd in stitches with the lyrics of a new "Cheater's Prayer"-inspired song, "I wish my Wife, and my Sweetheart could be friends!". He capped off the whirlwind set with a heart-felt, reggae rendition of gospel anthem "Goodness of God".
Mr. Vegas rolled out his 90's POWER set featuring bangers such as "I am blessed, Pull Uuuup and Heads-High" and was joined on-stage towards the end of the set by his "new artist", "Gassy Dread" - the Reggae alter-ego of Antigua and Barbuda's Prime Minister - Hon. Gaston Browne, on the tune "Reparations".
"The Fire Man" Capleton did not disappoint! The almost 60-year old senior delivered a surprisingly energetic performance, featuring a massive salvo of classic smash anthems that whipped the veteran fans in the midst into a nostalgia frenzy - "Or Wah?", "Slew Dem", "No Lotion Man", "Dem no like we and we no like dem", "Everybody needs somebody", "United we stand and divided we fall" and "Alms House", just to name a few.
Masicka rounded out the Jamaican contingent dropping his usual list of chart-toppers - "Top Form", "Limelight", "Image", "Keys", "Tyrant", "20 Matic" and of course the mega-smash "Whites".
If you missed it, the show is streaming on BakanalTV. Feel the Caribbean vibes as these iconic artists bring their hits to life, igniting the stage with energy and passion. A must-watch for reggae & dancehall lovers alike.
